In addition, this unit incorporates a high power infrared illuminator that can be turned on independently. The D-121M utilizes fiber optics to display its low battery warning and IR operational mode within the users field of view. By attaching the D-121M to its optional exclusive head mount assembly, it becomes a hands free mono goggle that allows for easy eye interchangeability and a flip up mechanism for unaided viewing. The D-121M can be used in conjunction with a camera or camcorder as a low light image enhancer. The D-121M’s viewing capabilities can be extended with the use of long-range mil spec 3X or 5X magnification lenses.
